Project Manager
Four Leaf Solutions is looking for Project Management candidates responsible for managing and delivering highly complex, large scale software system development and/or systems integration projects in a very fast paced, dynamic and highly matrix environment.
Responsible for defining project scope, developing project budget and project schedule, directing project activities, the candidate must have a proven history of ensuring all deliverables are within schedule and budget with scope accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing project management expertise and management support during the organization, budgeting, planning, development, testing, implementation and support of projects initiated by internal or by client development contracts
- Prepare project forecasts, manage project budgets and related financial matters
- Foster and facilitate positive working relationships with business clients, technology partners, and colleagues
- Manage multiple projects in progress which will require the ability to handle a project portfolio
- Establish project strategies including planning the approach, and managing the use of internal and external project personnel and equipment required to complete projects within time/cost/resource constraints, generating and meeting all quality targets
- Effectively manage change, issues, risks, escalations, communications, and project controls as well as deliverable acceptance as per commitments
- Report on the status of project plans within the portfolio on regularly scheduled intervals
- Participate with resource planning against project plans during Project Management Meetings
- Organizing and lead project related client and internal meetings and conduct / document project status reports to executive level staff
- Participate in other areas as required as part of a full service team; Including but not limited to fulfilling other role requirements including business analysis, systems analysis and required documentation

The perfect candidate for Four Leaf Solutions will be a flexible, knowledgeable, tech savvy and team oriented individual with a background in managing portfolios, identifying project risks, creating mitigation plans and effectively tracking open issues to successful closure.
The candidate must actively manage the work efforts of multiple functional (and shared) resources through the project plan. Establish basic scope control procedures. Develop documentation; monitor and report project status; and assess the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation. Initiate and maintain reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous efficient management of projects; gathers input and feedback. Analyze and report project status and research information; monitor project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables, and content. Effectively assist in directing internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines.
Reporting Relationship
The Project Manager will report to the Executive/Owners and will work closely with the Project Management Team and Professional Services Division to build strategy and drive corporate goals.
Job Specifications
Education
- A University graduate, preferably with either a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field
- Related experience with proven acumen also accepted on a case by case basis
Preferred Work Experience
- Experience on increasingly complex assignments that were successfully managed
- Experience managing projects and productions in a multi-product and service environment
- Experience in business case development
- Experience estimating project budgets / OMEs
- Experience with account management level inside sales
Knowledge
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other related project management tools
- Architecture background (applications, data, security, business and technology)
- Knowledge of Windows .Net as well as Web Services, application servers, databases, portals, etc.
- Knowledge of development methodologies
- Knowledge of finance and budgeting
- Knowledge of mining and/or related industry is an asset but not a requirement
