Technical Sales Consultant (Sales Intern)

Education (INTERN):
Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.

Experience:
Experience an asset

Specific Skills:
Lead generation, Promote sales to existing clients, Identify and solicit potential clients
(including cold calling), Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of
good or service, Deliver sales presentations, Estimate costs of installing and maintaining
equipment or service, Prepare and administer sales contracts, Utilize sales/marketing
software packages, Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support

Transportation/Travel Information:
Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly, Willing to
travel overnight (conferences), Valid driver's license, Travel expenses paid by employer

Other/Eligibility:
This position is funded through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation
Internship program; the successful applicant must be i) a recent graduate or enrolled in a
secondary school located in Northern Ontario; ii) 29 years of age or less at the start of the
work term; iii) studying towards qualifications in a field of study that is related to the
employment offered (commerce, business, marketing etc).
