WiFi

When designing the MineTracker system, the goal was to implement the latest in WiFi technologies available such as 802.11N, high powered WiFi radios, MIMO antenna technology and WMM QOS for the best in voice and data services.

The more outdated technologies can only provide 6 voice channels, 1 or 2 9600baud data channels and last known location tracking at best.

The MineTracker network can provide up to 300mbps speed for maximum throughput, dual WiFi high powered radios for excellent range underground coverage, bandwidth management and control and Real Time location tracking for increased safety, productivity, reliability and functionality.

Tags

Leaky Feeder Tags:

The Model 1980 tracking tag is part of the personnel and vehicle tracking system. The device transmits a unique ID number once per second which is received by any system reader in range and reported to the MineTracker monitoring and control system. The internal battery is rated for 1 to 2 years of operation before the unit requires replacement. Built into the unit is a “man down” button with two modes of operation. The first is an advisory condition activated a 1-4 second press. MineTracker system alerts the computer operator by displaying the information of the asset assigned to that tag. If the man down button is pressed for longer than 5 seconds it goes in to panic mode and remains locked in this state for approximately 20 minutes. In this condition the computer screen goes red and persistently displays the details of the tag in trouble.

Wi-Fi Tag Capability

Comprehensive Wi-Fi Tag family meets the needs of a variety of industries and solutions

Tags leverage any standard Wi-Fi network infrastructure, keeping costs low and making deployments simple and fast. The tags can be used to determine the location and status of mobile assets and people, and their wireless messages are received by standard Wi-Fi access points.

The tags utilize a unique beaconing method (instead of associating with networks) that keeps network impact low and ensures scalability and long battery life.

Call Button Messaging

T2 Tag has an optional call button feature that adds the ability to define events according to the push of a button. This enables advanced functionality such as emergency reporting.

Telemetry Capabilities

T2 Tags have customizable telemetry capabilities and include an external serial interface for data retrieval from host devices. The tags can retrieve valuable data such as fuel gauge, mileage, or pressure measurements periodically, and send that data wirelessly in addition to the location messages.

T3 Tags come standard with two call buttons for greater variance and control in messaging capabilities as well as two Led’s for unique visual indications. This enables advanced functionality from a single tag, such as asset status updates as well as emergency reporting from the same device and location.

Long Battery Life and Status Alerts

The T2 Tag uses a standard ½ size AA battery that provides up to four years of battery life with capabilities to report on the battery level and alert when low. The tag also has a built-in motion sensor to conserve battery life when the tag is inactive.

3i integration Tags

The T3i Tag is designed for Cap Lamp installation. T3i Tags have customizable telemetry capabilities and include an external serial interface for data retrieval from host devices.
