Four Leaf Solutions Inc. Achievements

Four Leaf Solutions has designed WordToWeb, an application which converts Microsoft Word documents into HTML. Inco approached Four Leaf Solutions with the need to convert hundreds of existing Word documents to HTML for their Intranet. They now use WordToWeb on a regular basis to convert technical and procedure manuals to HTML.

Four Leaf Solutions is providing the technology and expertise to allow Falconbridge to access their datawarehouse and process that data into information that can be used for decision making. From salary tracking to preventative maintenance monitoring on Scooptrams, the foremen and managers can get this information delivered to them daily.

Falconbridge is also using a system that Four Leaf Solutions has designed that allows their account managers to pull their accounting information from Falconbridge's central accounting package into Microsoft Excel. Once the accounting information is in Excel, the account managers can do Actual/Budget analysis, graph trends, and make predictions.

Four Leaf Solutions has developed a Sales Forecasting Intranet application for MTI, an international mining manufacturer. This application allows MTI's Sales Representatives to enter data into their centralized database using Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Netscape as their interface. The Sales Representatives, General Managers, and Executive Managers can then create forecast reports all within Internet Browsers. These tasks can be done locally on their Intranet, or remotely through the Internet.

Four Leaf Solutions has created a Veterinary application, which tracks clients, patients, inventory, and sales. This commercially available application, CompuVet, also has doctor scheduling, prescription printing, and invoicing. It is developed to be the central nervous system of the veterinary clinics. Surpac Software International, based in Australia, contracted Four Leaf Solutions to create a drill hole logging system. This system allows geologists to define the types and ranges of data that need to be recorded in order to properly analyse the ore bodies. It includes an add-hoc report generator, and a Sample tag generator.

Four Leaf Solutions has created an automatic ISP installer for a local internet provider. This program installs and configures Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. Minutes after placing the Install CD into their CD drive, the new Web Surfer has access to Browsing, Mail, and News.

Inco has contracted Four Leaf Solutions to create two intranet applications. CBT Tracking is an intranet application that collects data from Inco' Computer Based Training system and gives training personel access to online reports. Training Request is a second example of an intranet application where employees who are in need of training fill out an online request form. The employee can then track the progress of that request, as trainers, dates, and classrooms are assigned.
